How I Got Free Services At Discount Tire

Maybe everyone else knows about this, except me. While at work the other day I came out of a client's house and instinctively took a glance at my tires. To my dismay there was a screw-nail stuck in my front passenger's side tire. I was worried because I still had a long way to drive, using the freeway. I searched for a tire shop and after two failed stops I found a Discount Tire garage. One thing I know I didn't budget for that day was a few dollars for fixing a tire. So in my anxiety I asked the attendant how much it would cost me, and he said " -Nothing, it's free." - I was sure I didn't hear him correctly -- maybe I heard what I wanted to hear -- so I quickly asked him again. And he took his time to let me know they don't charge for some 'minor' things like flat tires, pressure checks, etc. That was so unbelievable! So I asked how long it would take, etc. When they were done, I asked if it was time to rotate my tires, and he said if I'd mentioned that they would have checked and maybe done so for me, unless I wanted to wait all over again. Of course I was in a hurry - so he said for me to drop by some other time. And again I asked how much it would cost me if it turned out they'd have to rotate the tires, and he said that one is free also. My goodness - " -I didn't know anybody still did anything for free," - I said, and drove off. Two days later I went to another Discount Tire shop in another city - they rotated my tires, for free - wow! Well, I just thought I should share this exciting experience, especially for those of us who didn't know....

Yea, me too, I had the same good experience. Really awesome to see that a big company like Discount Tire can truly do something nice for free. These days the greedy ones want all they can squeeze out of people. If you know of any other companies that honestly do stuff for free without hidden 'fine-prints' please let me know. Chao!
